Troopers very concerned about soaring numbers of incidents of identity theft.
By Jo Ingles - August 13, 2010
The Ohio State Highway Patrol reports identity theft is on the rise. And in an interview with Ohio Public Radio's Jo Ingles, Lt. Gary Smith explains the strange way in which a lot of this theft is being discovered.

Lewis admits that move is pretty gutsy on the criminal's part. He says Ohioans should make sure they know where their social security cards are kept in a safe place. Lewis says social security cards are often the gateway for criminals to open up lines of credit and obtain access to other legal idenitifcation.
