Some advocates of government programs for children, the poor, the disabled, and the elderly are breathing a sigh of relief. That’s because the proposed new state budget from Gov. John Kasich doesn’t hurt those programs as much as some had predicted. Other advocates, though, are not holding back on criticism. Statehouse correspondent Bill Cohen files this report. |
