Political consultants know it’s usually easier to convince Ohioans to vote "no" than "yes" on controversial ballot issues. That’s why backers and critics of Ohio’s new collective bargaining law have both wanted to be on the “vote no” side, when voters decide the law’s fate in November. Both sides asked the Ohio Ballot Board to put them on the vote no side, but Wednesday evening, the five-member board made a decision. Statehouse correspondent Bill Cohen reports. |
