| Ohio to Get $16 Million in Drug Settlement. |

Its being called the largest Medicaid fraud settlement in the nations history, and Ohio is going to receive $16 million from it. Two major drug companies, Bayer and GlaxoSmithKline, have agreed to pay 49 states a total of nearly $330 million in exchange for the states dropping a lawsuit. It had accused the manufacturers of overcharging state Medicaid programs for medicine. Mark Gribben is a spokesman for Ohio Attorney General Jim Petro. He talked with statehouse correspondent Bill Cohen about the case against the two drug companies. |
