Senate Unveils New State Budget Plan.

Millions of extra state dollars are on tap for Ohio schools and universities, under a new version of a two-year state budget that’s just been unveiled by Republicans who dominate the Ohio Senate. The latest proposal endorses a plan, already passed by the House of Representatives, to raise the state sales tax from 5% to 6%. Statehouse correspondent Bill Cohen has more details about the Senate version of the spending blueprint, and reaction to it.
