| State's Leaders Say Ohio's Money Not
Hurt By Stock Market. |

Ohio treasurer Joe Deters says the state's money is safe. He says state funds
are not tied up in the stock market, although he admits the state's pension funds
are. But even then, Deters says those funds are so heavily diversified that fluctuations
in the stock market won't jeapordize those accounts. |
