It's bad news for death row inmate John Byrd, and good news for Ohio prosecutors.
A federal magistrate is recommending that Byrd get no more court appeals on his
claim that he is innocent of the murder charge that gave him the death sentence
in 1984. Statehouse correspondent Bill Cohen reports. |
