Ohio University's president will be participating in this year's undergraduate commencement ceremony as both the president and as one of the graduating gang. Roderick McDavis is taking the walk because he didn't get to participate in the ceremony when he graduated in 1970. About three thousand students are expected to participate in Saturday's commencement, which is split into two ceremonies -- one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Artist and O-U alumna Phoebe Beasley will be the featured speaker. |
