Former NBC anchor talks politics and history at Ohio State.
By Steve Brown - March 8, 2006
Former NBC anchorman Tom Brokaw was on the Ohio State campus yesterday. The 21-year veteran of NBC Nightly News was in town to promote his new book, "The Greatest Generation." The book focuses on the World War II generation, a group of people Brokaw praises for their wilingness to make sacrifices for their country. During his speech, Brokaw also railed against the current political climate in Washington. He says the two main political parties have developed a killer instinct when it comes to dealing with political adversaries.
