Condemned death row inmate John Spirko Jr. is set to be executed next month. But there’s word from the Ohio Attorney General’s office that might not happen as planned. In an interview with Ohio Public Radio’s Jo Ingles, Kim Norris of the A-G’s office explains why her office will likely ask the Governor to delay Spirko’s execution. Norris says it’s ultimately up to Governor Taft whether to grant the request for a delay. So far, the Governor has tended to side with the opinions of the A G’s office. |
