The US Senate has unanimously passed a resolution committing to a peaceful transition of power if President Trump loses the election, after Trump suggested that he might claim voter fraud based on mail-in ballots and refuse to leave office. Statehouse correspondent Jo Ingles reports on the reaction of Gov. Mike DeWine, who's campaigned for Trump's re-election.

DeWine is a campaign co-chair for Trump. But he says if Trump loses in Ohio, DeWIne says he would not work with the Trump campaign to hand the state’s electoral votes to Trump if he claims voter fraud.

"No, that’s not what should happen. No. No. It’s the people’s vote," DeWine said.

But DeWine would not condemn Trump's comments.

DeWine and Lt. Governor Jon Husted, Ohio’s former secretary of state and another Trump campaign co-chair, say there are many safeguards in place to make sure voter fraud doesn’t happen in Ohio.
