There’s a big change for fans who plan to go to the Horseshoe to cheer the Buckeyes on this Saturday. Ohio Public Radio’s Jo Ingles reports.
Starting this weekend, fans will not be allowed to take purses or bags into OSU’s stadium unless they are the kind you can see through. Ohio State is implementing the same policy as the National Football League. So as in the NFL, fans will have to forego carry in items unless they are in a transparent plastic bag. Only clear plastic, vinyl bags will be permitted in the Horseshoe for the game against Michigan State. The university says the goal is to provide a safe environment for all those in attendance.
