Faith Leaders Rally Against Trump's Campaign Promises

Andy Chow

A collection of leaders and activists from various faiths gathered to call out what they believe to be “hate talk” from Donald Trump’s presidential campaign.

Pastors, rabbis and an imam stood together to rally against Trump’s recent language against the Islamic faith.

Imam Hossam Musa from the Noor Islamic Center in Columbus was there to speak against the presidential candidate’s rhetoric and to also condemn the recent terrorist attack in California.

Musa: “If any so-called Muslim commits a crime -- our religion Islam is free of those criminal actions and we stand strongly condemning it and preaching the true, clear Islam.”

Musa added that it’s unfair that he even has to come out with that condemnation, but said it’s necessary.
