The coalition of more than 30 educational groups plan to meet at the Ohio Statehouse Wednesday

Ohio is among the first states to leave the national group over a letter that suggested threats against school board members might be "domestic terrorism".

The group says the realtors' support of diversity, equity and inclusion is at odds with their support of bills that would restrict teaching about race and public policy.

The bills would ban what sponsors call "critical race theory", a concept not taught in K-12 schools in Ohio.

And sometimes, school board members are being threatened over what people think they are teaching.
