2024 Eclipse

The solar eclipse will cast a shadow over several major Ohio cities. But many small towns are in the path of totality too, and they’re leaning into the celestial event.

124 miles of Ohio will be in the path of totality for the eclipse on April 8.

Students at Bowling Green State University spent months researching the impact of past eclipses. Their podcast “Eclipsing History” explores the cultural, historical and social influences of the astronomical spectacle.
